The Harmony of Initial Perceptual Systems in the Report of the Beginning of Antitheses and Its Impact on the Construction of Comprehensive Literary Discourse: A Cognitive Approach
Keywords:
conceptual metaphors, predicates, antitheses, literary discourseAbstract
This study explores the under-examined issue of multiple leaderships responsible for literary discourse and the diversity of literary forms within ancient literary heritage, focusing on their interplay rather than treating them in isolation. It emphasizes the significance of such discourse, exemplified by the antitheses between Jarir and Al-Farazdaq. The research concludes that this complex discourse permeates our literary history and is best understood through cognitive methods, particularly the use of conceptual metaphors for presentation, description, and analysis, rooted in the mind's reliance on a shared conceptual system for abstraction.
